RPL is a Record of Your Career Personal Bests
“So I’m back. More strength training.
There’s this device called the Abdelight.
I’ve realised that personal trainers / fitness trainers, give things innocuous names just to lure in unsuspecting victims!
Well, the idea is that you hang off by your arms and you lift your legs.
When I first started strength training I couldn’t even hang there, let alone lift my legs!
Now, four years down the track, I can lift my knees up, bend them out and do the sets.
I don’t necessarily like it but I can do it.
I’ve got stronger and my range and flexibility and what I can do has improved.
I know more and I’m able to do more.
It’s a lot like what happens in our careers.
When we start out there’s not a lot that we know how to do. We’re learning and we’re turning up.
For the last four years I’ve turned up.
Over time, our reach gets better, our strength gets better, what we know how to do gets better.
And that’s what happens when we recognise your skills and turn them into qualifications through Recognition of Prior Learning.
What we’re recognising is that over time you’ve grown, you’ve learned more and you know more.
It means your qualifications progress with you throughout your career.
So you might start at a Certificate IV, and then as you go through your career doing more, learning more and knowing more, you can achieve progressively higher qualifications – Diploma, Advance Diploma, and even a Graduate Diploma (one above a Bachelor).
If you’re ready to have your skills and progress recognised, get in touch with the team at Churchill Education via any of the methods listed below…
It all starts with a free assessment!
It will give you a personal buzz, and it will show current and future employers the value of your career personal bests.”
